No, Kori Krill Oil does not need to be taken with a meal. However, if you experience an upset stomach when taking Omega-3 supplements, then consider taking Kori Krill Oil with a meal.

Soy lecithin is used in the processing of Kori Krill Oil. However, most if not all of the soy protein that elicits allergic reaction is removed in the manufacturing process, and any remaining proteins would be below the limit that could be detected by analytical testing. In addition, Glycerin (an ingredient in the softgel shell) may be derived from soy oil. We suggest you consider your level of sensitivity to soy when deciding if this product is appropriate for you.

The krill used in Kori Krill Oil are harvested from the pristine waters of the Antarctic where there is little industry or agriculture to contaminate the water with mercury. In the US, there is no standard for declaring a product to be “mercury free” as there is, for instance, for “gluten free”. That said, the oil is routinely tested for the presence of mercury, as well as other heavy metals and contaminants, and not encapsulated unless it meets very stringent standards for purity and quality.

We have a 14-day return policy for items purchased directly on korikrilloil.com, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday before 10 am are expected to ship the next business day. Orders placed after 10 am Thursday or Friday to Sunday are expected to ship on Monday or Tuesday the following week. Holidays excluded. Tracking information for your order will be sent the day after the order has shipped. Standard delivery times are 5-7 days, but your order may be delivered sooner depending on your location.

Standard 1200 mg softgel size is approximately 1.02 x 0.43 inches, about the height of a quarter. Small 600 mg softgel size is approximately 0.64 x 0.43 inches. Mini 400 mg softgel size is approximately 0.57 x 0.35 inches. The height of the 600 mg and 400 mg is similar to a dime.
